Have you ever been confused about where the mountains end and the sky begins?

It happens frequently on Greycliff where clouds drift between mountain peeks and the misty atmosphere can be set ablaze buy each sunrise and sunset.

North Channel Views

The North Channel of Lake Glenville weaves around the mountain, revealing itself to many lots on Greycliff’s northern slope. Tiny docks jut into the emerald green water, and rustic cottages line the banks.

Long Northeast Mountain Views

The longest mountain view at Greycliff, it stares up the spine of the Great Smoky Mountains, with peaks such as Shoal, Pilot, Prickly Ash, Lizzy, and Grassy Top each trying to outreach one another. They fade into the distance, one folding into the other, as clouds drift between, scratching their misty bellies on the forested mountains below.

Southeast Lake Corridor Views

Lake Glenville weaves southwest, branching out in narrow lake channels, like fingers prodding into mountain valleys. From Greycliff, the main corridor of Lake Glenville stretches beyond a low peak, revealing a small tree covered island, and beyond that, mountain peaks such as Owen Mountain, Piney Cliff, and Grassyrock.

South Lake Channel View

The long South Lake Channel reaches in from the Main Lake Corridor, slipping between two mountain peaks and meeting in a quiet shady cove with Mill Creek Falls as it cascades from the rocks above.

Southwest Mountain View

The view to the southwest is up-hill, as each mountain peak reaches just higher than the one before. From here, the horizon seems almost within reach, as if you could skip from mountain top to mountain top – from Bald Mountain to High Knob, from Yellow Mountain to the distinctive Goat Knob and Shortoff mountain with it’s towering 5000 foot high peak.

Meadow Valley View

Greycliff’s west slope looks down on a peaceful meadow, wrapped in the arms of rollicking tree-covered hills. At times, the clouds roll over the nearby peaks and cast wandering shadows on the green glade below and the charming Christmas tree farm.

Observation Deck

Greycliff features two observation decks. Sit back together with some wine and take bets on how far away the horizon is (hint: it's in a different state).
